Today’s a day when people can feel lonely, out of sorts, overwhelmed and in need of support.

Since the pandemic, we’ve seen far more open conversations about mental health and wellbeing. Lockdowns and being isolated led to increases in loneliness.

Feeling like you don’t have meaningful or close relationships can be associated with increased symptoms of anxiety and depression.

So if you’re feeling tender, here are 10 ways to get you through this day, and every other day.

1.  Show your future some love

Self-care is self-love. Self-pity won’t attract your Soulmate.

Whether single, partnered up or walking away, true love starts with self-love. Don’t settle, just because.   

We teach others how to treat us. How are you being treated? How are you treating yourself?

Whatever love means to you if you have an empty void inside, only you can fill it.  

In simple terms, if you are not happy with yourself, or with your life, the attraction of a partner will only exaggerate the dis-ease, because any action taken from a place of lack is always going to backfire.

You just have to not let your joy depend upon what anybody else is living, cause that’ll get you every time.  

2.  Connection 

Celebrate when someone tells you good news and follow up by taking an interest and asking them to share more. 

3.  Community 

Intentionally seek out places you feel you belong. This might be within an online community, at a running club, at work, or with a group of friends. Create connections that are mindful and healthy.

4.  Indulge yourself 

Do something you LOVE for no other reason than you can. 

5.  Go on a love rampage 

As you go about your day today, mentally pick out 100 things that you love. 

I love my family 

I love my coffee

I love my home

I love the rain

I love the gym 

I love my dog 

I love my perky bum…

This is a powerful frequency-shifter to add to your goal-getting mindset and manifesting prowess.

Anytime you want to change the way you feel and, at the same time, accelerate your life by attracting things you love. Watch how the law of attraction multiples your thoughts and you’ll receive even more things you love! 

6.  Don’t chase. Attract.

Chasing people is exhausting. Attracting them? Effortless. The secret lies in owning your energy. When you’re aligned and unfiltered, the right people can’t help but come to you.

Truth bomb: Staying in victim mode keeps you in a low vibration attracting low vibe people and things. When you raise your frequency you attract what you want. It’s all in your vibration.

7.  Cue your inner Elsa. LET. IT.GO. 

You can’t let love in if you’re angry or bitter. 

Send an apology to someone you’ve had a fallout with. Even if you think you’re right, resentment takes energy. Energy that can be spent working on yourself. 

Apologise for your part in the fallout. And it’s not about you admitting you’re wrong. It’s about processing your feelings so you can be at peace with the situation.

8.  Love notes to self

Pay attention to any compliments and praise you get and write them down. We’re amazing at remembering criticism and forgetting compliments. Make this a priority at the end of each day and watch what happens.

9.  Raise your self-worth

Make a list of the things you’ve done well so far this year and write down any ‘magic moments’ you’ve had along the way. Do this every day.

10.  Spread the love 

Make someone else feel significant, by telling them something you love or admire about them. If you want to feel great about yourself one of the fastest ways to do that is to make someone else smile.
